oh i can understand that! Well it's not much, i think something about the position of the iris or lenth of the eyes : either case, i think the iris should be squeezed at the extrem of the eye, since the head is 100% profile. At least that's what it looked like when i tried doing it! xD It's not a common eye position. anyway, i love it!
An excellent portrait It really has the feeling of the portraits in HotU and the atmosphere of the Underdark for me. The background tones, her ferocious, predatory yet at the same time incredibly fascinating facial features, the engravings on the metal part of her clothes, her amazing hairstyle of course ... all this little details really keep me captivated. And it desperately makes me want to play NWN again!
It is a shame, a lot of old games are much better than the new ones. I started to play Baldur's Gate II. recently, and I am forced to do so on my mother's laptop, because it just won't work on my computer. But true gamers always find a way!
Sadly that's so true in the majority of cases! I'd prefer a good story and interesting well-thought-out characters over some fancy graphics and effects anytime. Actually some of the 2D graphics were really pretty for their era. Ah, the Baldur's Gate series is also on the list of games I need to play some time, though my next one of the classics is going to be Planescape:Torment, it's already calling for me from the shelf for quite a while now And I guess I figured out my problem with NWN, it just did not have the newest patch. As simple as that. Hopefully with this little bastard installed it will work again.
She is really beautiful her skin tone looks good and as a whole she is and so nicely detailed. I especailly love the detail and the colours in her hair. The way you have shaded her face gives her very sharp elven features which i think it is what drew me to her.
